Savings goals
One shared goal, visible progress.
Set the goal, amount, and date. IOWII shows what remains and keeps each person's contributions in the same context.
Create the goal
Start with a name, target amount, and date. The setup stays simple so a trip, home deposit, or project can move forward without heavy configuration.
- Target amount and deadline
- Progress by amount and percentage
- Clear remaining amount
Track contributions
Add manual contributions made by transfer, cash, or another method. The goal total and individual contribution update together.
- Contributions by person
- History within the goal
- Shareable progress
Share the goal, not the account
Participants can follow the goal without seeing balances, personal accounts, or other transactions. Sharing stays limited to the common goal.
- Scope limited to the goal
- Personal accounts stay private
- Clear participation for each person
Know how much to set aside each month
With a target date, IOWII works out the required pace: how much you need to save each month to get there in time. If you prefer, type the monthly amount yourself, and that money stops showing as available in Safe to spend.
- Monthly pace worked out from the date
- Or a monthly amount you set yourself
- Promised money kept out of Safe to spend
Link the goal to an account
Pick an account and progress becomes that account's real balance, updated whenever money moves in or out. It works best with an account used only for saving.
- Progress without manual updates
- An Achieved badge when you reach the target
Group goals
In a Group, any member can contribute. The funded amount is always the sum of everyone's contributions, and each contribution is tied to who made it, with a date and an amount.
- Each person edits only their own contributions
- Contribute from a transaction you already logged
- Whoever manages the Group can close the goal
